Backend Developer

Summary

The job is for a Backend Developer with 8+ years of experience in Python development. The role requires proficiency in TypeScript, Nestjs, CI/CD Pipeline, Oracle RDBMS, Mongo, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Secondary skills include Python.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of backend development concepts, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design
• Hands-on experience with GCP services (Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Big Query
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Experience working with version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and modern development tools

Responsibilities

Proven experience as a Backend Developer with Python as the primary language

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably in a cloud environment
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices
