Junior Backend Developer

Requirements

• Around 1 year of commercial experience with Node.js
• Understand basic JS concepts (ES 2018+), use Classes, and follow recent additions/functionalities
• Basic experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g. Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc)
• Know what OOP is, understand basic good practices and data structures
• Have worked with SQL database (integration wise) with ORM or query builder tool (ie. Prisma, Knex)
• English level B2 to cooperate with American clients
• Polish level C1 to communicate easily within the team

Responsibilities

• Writing personal-best possible JS code with OOP flavor
• Technical involvement in the product - finding ways to improve it
• Writing documentation for delivered code
• Peer code review
• Communicate with the team to efficiently translate business complexity into solutions
• Learning, learning and learning ;)
