Backend Developer

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend development
• Proven experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs
• Strong knowledge of AWS services: AppSync, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Step Functions
• Hands-on experience with serverless application development and deployment
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code tools

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GraphQL APIs that serve as the backbone for modern web applications
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS services (AppSync, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Step Functions)
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integrations with frontend and data layers
• Utilize CI/CD workflows and infrastructure-as-code tools to streamline deployment
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security concerns

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to frontend technologies like React and Next.js
• Experience with caching strategies, CDN (CloudFront), and S3 static asset hosting
• Knowledge of observability tools and monitoring for serverless applications
