Summary

Vivid is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join their European fintech startup team. The ideal candidate will develop banking microservices, participate in code reviews, work closely with other engineers and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 3 years of experience developing software applications using Golang/Java/Kotlin/C# are required. This role can be performed remotely or in Limassol, Cyprus or Almaty, Kazakhstan with relocation support if needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 years of experience developing software applications using Golang/Java/Kotlin/C#
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Develop banking microservices
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
• Work closely with other software engineers and stakeholders to develop robust and reliable banking solutions
• Work with operations and support teams to address customer issues and production problems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing banking microservices and applications will be a huge advantage
