Backend Engineer

Requirements

• Have a good knowledge of JavaScript & TypeScript (Node.js) and Web technologies
• Be an avid learner and looking to grow your expertise in the web scraping domain and in general
• Have a problem-solving mindset
• Be able to write and speak English well
• Have empathy and patience to understand customers and their needs
• Have at minimum 1 year of programming experience (school and self-learning counts)
• Be available for a full-time commitment
• Live in the Czech Republic and be able to come to our Prague office at least once a month

Responsibilities

• Build the next generation of web automation tools
• Automate tasks and collect data for various purposes
• Understand customer needs and provide solutions
• Contribute to collaborative open and closed source projects
• Design great APIs that other developers will love to use

Preferred Qualifications

• Have contributed to a non-trivial user-facing product
• Have experience fine-tuning products for UX/DX
• Like to write and share experience - tutorials, technical support, tooling, etc
