Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Blend, a thriving tech company with over 10 years of experience in big data, as a Backend Engineer focusing on identity and access management. Work remotely or at the office, collaborate with application teams, optimize AWS resources, and support secure access management across various platforms.

Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in developing, debugging, and testing Python code
• Familiarity with best practices in source code management and collaborative code development
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Ability to set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Understanding of Access Management

Responsibilities

• Deploy, optimize, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
• Collaborate with application teams to integrate both internally hosted and SaaS/homegrown applications into the Datawarehouse
• Support various platform integrations with IAM tools, such as IGA solutions, ServiceNow, and Okta, in collaboration with application and product teams
• Perform high-level data mapping and management activities to integrate application user access data and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform is a plus
• ServiceNow experience is nice to have
