Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer, you will work with a talented team in private investment banking, developing skills in identity and access management. You will deploy and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, integrate applications with IAM tools, perform data mapping, and develop TFE projects and AWS resources. This role requires experience in Python, AWS, and source code management. Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in developing, debugging, and testing Python code
• Familiarity with best practices in source code management and collaborative code development
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Ability to set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Understanding of Access Management
• You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team
• In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 2+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy, optimize, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
• Collaborate with application teams to integrate both internally hosted and SaaS/homegrown applications into the Datawarehouse
• Support various platform integrations with IAM tools, such as IGA solutions, ServiceNow, and Okta, in collaboration with application and product teams
• Perform high-level data mapping and management activities to integrate application user access data and frameworks
• Develop and maintain TFE projects, AWS resources, and modules within the code base

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform is a plus
• ServiceNow experience is nice to have
