Backend Engineer

Summary

A Backend Engineer position is available at a new DeFi protocol startup based on Solana. The candidate will be responsible for building the first yield trading exchange on Solana, with opportunities to contribute to an $8B+ ecosystem. The role requires backend experience with Python and TypeScript, knowledge of database technologies like PostgreSQL, proficiency in web API design and development, and experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud.

Requirements

• Backend experience with Python and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud
• Proficiency in web API design and development

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable backend services and APIs to power our suite of DeFi products
• Develop, test, and ship new backend features that support our protocol (such as historical charts, transaction history, position performance, etc)
• Manage and optimize our databases
• Work closely with our frontend and product teams to deliver high quality user experiences
