Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework
• Deep understanding of SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization techniques
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database design principles, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively at both the application and database levels
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts
• Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
• A genuine interest in working with data, uncovering insights, and contributing to data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using primarily .NET technologies
• Work with massive datasets, implementing efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing mechanisms
• Structure and optimize our extensive SQL Server database for optimal performance and scalability. Design efficient data models, indexes, and query execution plans to handle large data structures effectively
• Continuously monitor and optimize backend systems and database queries for speed, efficiency, and scalability, ensuring seamless data handling under heavy loads
• Work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and product teams to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to data management, backend systems, and performance bottlenecks at both the application and database levels
• Stay updated with the latest data-related technologies and evaluate their potential for improving our systems
• Actively engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into technical solutions that leverage data insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python for scripting, data processing, or machine learning tasks is a significant advantage
• Experience with Elasticsearch or other distributed search and analytics engines is a plus
