Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Nord Security's payments team and build secure, high-performance systems powering our world-leading cybersecurity products. You will design, build, and maintain APIs, work with various payment systems, integrate new service providers, and develop PCI-DSS compliant solutions. This role requires experience with PHP or Go, understanding of OOP principles, API design, and MySQL. Requirements

• Experience with PHP or Go
• Understanding of OOP principles and good code design
• Knowing a thing or two about API design
• Good MySQL knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs
• Work with credit cards, ApplePay and GooglePay
• Integrate new service providers, each with its own code and functionality
• Develop and maintain solutions according to PCI-DSS compliance requirements
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, and KeyDB
