Backend Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in backend engineering
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is highly desirable (or similar)
• Experience building systems with a GraphQL API and a gRPC backend system

Responsibilities

• Develop features and build infrastructure to integrate with external platforms like Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce
• Build and maintain high-quality APIs for eCommerce, focusing on tracking orders, order placement, returns, and search engines
• Stand up new infrastructure on GCP, Netlify, etc
• Write high-quality documentation for our developer customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of best practices in software engineering and API development
• Interest is working with customers and providing high-quality technical documentation
