Backend Engineer Intern

Summary

Join Coalition's Accounts and Agencies team as a full-time, paid intern for a 10-14 week program! This remote internship offers flexibility and mentorship. You'll design and code solutions, work on projects from ideation to production, and test and iterate code. The internship culminates in showcasing your project and provides potential for future career opportunities at Coalition. The ideal candidate is a university student in their final year of a relevant degree program with strong computer science fundamentals and programming skills.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field
• You are entering your 4th year at university or final year for an advanced degree
• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures, problem solving, databases
• Comfortable in one or more programming languages like Go, Python
• Ability to participate in a full-time internship between June-August

Responsibilities

• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems
• Find and build unique solutions to implement projects from the idea phase to production
• Test and iterate code before and after production release
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software
