Responsibilities
- Design, develop and manage back-end components and APIs using Node.js and Typescript, pushing our microservices architecture forward to support large-scale data and low-latency needs
- Explore and analyse the performance of the analytics database, suggesting and executing improvements that keep latency and scalability in line with the company targets
- Drive improvements across the entire backend and data stacks, with a strong product-performance mindset
- Work closely with agile, cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers and designers
- Enable Application teams to build cutting-edge capabilities with outstanding experience and performance
- Collaborate with data generation, ingestion and aggregation to set the foundations for a robust, but flexible unified data pipeline
- Provide focused support for the domain, reacting and addressing customer needs both internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Scala, Go, or Python in production environments
- Experience with ClickHouse or other columnar databases for high-volume analytics
- Contributions to open-source projects, tech talks, or engineering blogs
