Requirements

• Proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern frameworks and platforms such as React and Node.js
• Ability to develop performant, resilient, and secure services
• Experience building and handling asynchronous and event-driven workflows
• Understanding of protocols and architectural patterns like HTTP, REST, and/or GraphQL
• Ability to create testable code and prioritize testing
• Passionate, self-driven, and able to work with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Familiarity with Service oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures
• Experience with code versioning tools like Git in a continuous delivery process
• Familiarity with code quality tools like linters, type checkers, and static analyses
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Experience integrating/connecting systems like warehouse management & eCommerce

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative cloud-based solutions
• Work alongside Front-End developers to deliver performant and secure services
• Develop and maintain features in a collaborative, Agile environment
• Write testable code and ensure the test coverage stays at the agreed level
• Document your code
• Take ownership of your code every step of the way - from development to deployment and maintenance
• Diagnose issues in production and devise solutions for them
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks
• Be an integral part of solutions design and implementation
• Care about all the steps your code goes through from your machine to production
