Summary
Join Melita, a leading HR, Benefits, and Payroll Outsourcing company, as a dynamic benefits professional. You will manage a small team, build relationships with insurance partners, analyze and present benefit plan proposals to small and mid-sized businesses, advise clients on benefit package design, and collaborate with the internal support team for seamless open enrollment. This remote position requires 5+ years of experience in small group benefits analysis, a bachelor's degree, an insurance license, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- 5+ years in a role that involves small group benefits analysis and/or support
- Bachelorβs Degree
- Insurance license
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of 2 offshore Benefits Marketing Specialists
- Manage relationships with our insurance carrier and general agency partners to ensure we are well-supported and well-informed
- Analyze and present proposals of various benefit plans for and options including medical, dental, disability, group life, and some voluntary benefits, to our small business clients ranging in size from 2 β 250 employees
- Advise and guide clients with making decisions on benefits package design and employee contribution levels to align with competitive benchmarks and the companyβs goals and culture
- Work closely with internal Benefits Support team to ensure our clients make timely annual renewal decisions with a clean handoff to allow the support team ample time to execute a flawless Open Enrollment for our clients
