Requirements
- Deep expertise in BigCommerce development, including the Stencil framework, BigCommerce APIs, and custom theme/plugin development
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development (PHP, Node.js, Java etc.)
- Experience with RESTful API development and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud services, serverless architectures, and performance optimization techniques
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English communication skills

- Serve as the technical lead for all BigCommerce projects, overseeing the design, development, and deployment of e-commerce solutions
- Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope
- Manage the BigCommerce platform, including customizations, integrations, and third-party applications
- Ensure the platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and security
- Mentor and guide a team of developers, providing technical direction and support
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Lead the design and development of custom BigCommerce themes, plugins, and extensions
- Implement advanced customizations, including API integrations, third-party services, and custom functionality
- Optimize and maintain existing BigCommerce stores, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
- Develop and implement custom solutions, including API integrations, custom plugins, and extensions
- Ensure seamless integration with other systems, such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and other team members
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to define technical requirements and project timelines
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in BigCommerce applications
- Implement caching strategies, optimize database queries, and enhance overall application performance
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure all developments are thoroughly tested and meet requirements
- Identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs in a timely manner
- Stay up to date with the latest BigCommerce updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies
- Promote continuous learning and improvement within the team, encouraging the adoption of new tools and techniques
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and marketing teams, to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
