Biostatistician

Summary

Join our client, a boutique HEOR consulting firm, as a Biostatician and contribute to the design and analysis of studies that inform healthcare decision-making. Utilize real-world data to generate hypotheses and conduct analysis, and communicate findings through comprehensive reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in biostatistics within the HEOR or pharmaceutical industry, or a relevant industry
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages including SAS and R; experience with other programming tools (e.g., Python, Stata) is a plus
• Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and their applications in health economics and outcomes research
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively
• Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial spirited and an openness to out of the box creative problem solving

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement HEOR studies for tier one pharmaceutical companies
• Conduct statistical analyses to derive insights from complex healthcare databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance to client objectives
• Write statistical code and collaborate across projects on results auditing
• Communicate findings through comprehensive reports and presentations, translating complex statistical concepts into actionable recommendations for clients
