Blockchain Data Engineer

Summary

Join RWA.xyz, a leading data and analytics platform for tokenized real-world assets, as a Blockchain Data Engineer. This early-mid career role, preferably located in NYC, involves building core data systems and APIs, collaborating with product engineers, and improving team productivity. The ideal candidate possesses experience with PySpark (preferably on DataBricks), relational database schemas, and cloud infrastructure DevOps, along with excellent communication and ownership skills. While not strict requirements, bonus points are awarded for blockchain data, early-stage startup, or finance experience. The hiring process includes a phone screen, interview with the CTO, a technical take-home assignment, an on-site system design whiteboard session, and a paid trial run.

Requirements

• Experience building data systems with PySpark, preferably on DataBricks
• Experience designing relational database schemas
• Experience with cloud infrastructure DevOps
• Excellent communication ability
• Strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship
• Can move quickly and accurately under conditions of uncertainty without supervision

Responsibilities

• Building our core data systems and API
• Collaborating with product engineers to ship new features
