Bootcamp Instructor - AI

Summary

Join Codecademy as a remote contract instructor to deliver live online AI bootcamps! You will conduct live classes, develop curriculum, engage students, provide feedback, and offer technical assistance. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 7 years of real-world technology experience, and proficiency in various AI technologies. Prior B2C teaching experience is desirable. The hourly rate is anticipated to be between $75 and $125. Codecademy is committed to diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of real-world experience in technology companies, leading impactful projects and workstreams
• Proficiency in AI-related technologies, including but not limited to: Programming Languages: Python (NumPy, Pandas), JavaScript
• Machine Learning & Deep Learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• Data Processing & Analysis: SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), Apache Spark
• Cloud & Deployment: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
• MLOps & DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and versioning
• AI Frameworks & Tools: Hugging Face, OpenAI API, LangChain
• Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct live online classes for a diverse group of learners, ensuring high-quality instruction and engagement
• Develop and refine course materials, lesson plans, and projects, leveraging our extensive Codecademy library as a valuable resource
• Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement
• Evaluate student performance through assignments and projects, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning
• Assist students with technical challenges and address their queries both during and outside of class

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees are a plus
• Prior experience in B2C teaching or training roles is desirable
• Experience in blue chip tech companies
• AI and LLM related expertise
• Extensive B2C teaching experience
