Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of experience working in a development team
  • Have a full understanding of source control principles (ideally Git, but others like Perforce or SVN are acceptable)
  • Be familiar with core software development practices (analysis, requirements, design, implementation, testing, acceptance, and maintenance)
  • Be proficient in writing professional, documented, and well-tested code
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science

Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions for business automation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver final deliverables
  • Work with a Project Manager to provide estimates and integrate them into a Project Plan
  • Work as part of an Agile/SCRUM team
  • Integrate with REST services and handle JSON payloads
  • Interact with all levels of external and internal project stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with BPM/Workflow and BPMN (e.g., IBM BPM/BAW, Camunda, Appian, Flowable, Pega, etc.)
  • Have experience with Low-code App Dev (OutSystems, other) and/or iPaaS (Workato, Boomi, other) and/or RPA/IA
  • Be conversant in software and architectural patterns
  • Have working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Have experience with Docker
  • Have good exposure to DevOps, especially building pipelines
  • Have experience with DMN for capturing complex business rules
  • Understand and articulate how source control, CI/CD, containers, and agile methods fit within the software development landscape
  • Have knowledge of and experience with cloud computing infrastructure
  • Have experience with Kubernetes
