Summary
Join Decentraland, a community-driven virtual world, as a Brand Graphic Designer to create compelling visuals for marketing efforts across various platforms. You will collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop on-brand assets, design for email campaigns, landing pages, and website content, and adapt creative work for different social media outlets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Figma and Canva, familiarity with 3D design tools, and a keen understanding of marketing principles. This role offers the opportunity to contribute creatively to the evolution of Decentraland's visual identity and work in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Figma: Strong ability to create marketing layouts, and collaborate with the team using Figma’s collaborative features
- Graphic design skills: Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere etc.), for advanced image design, composition, postproduction and animation
- Understanding of marketing principles: Ability to create designs that support campaign goals and are optimized for conversion
- Brand awareness: Ability to maintain visual consistency and adapt to evolving brand guidelines
- Strong eye for detail and excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Experience in 3D design: Basic knowledge of 3D design tools (e.g., Blender) to create simple 3D models, icons, composition or visual effects
Responsibilities
- Create compelling graphics for marketing campaigns, including blog imagery, social media posts, banner ads, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop visual assets that align with brand guidelines and support campaign objectives
- Design assets for email marketing campaigns, landing pages, and website content
- Develop motion graphics or 3D visual elements to enhance storytelling across social and advertising channels
- Adapt creative work for different platforms, optimizing designs for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media outlets
- Ensure consistency across all brand communications and marketing collateral
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and marketing best practices to keep designs fresh and engaging
- Assist in refining brand identity and visual guidelines as Decentraland evolves
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion graphics is a plus, particularly for social media and video ads
- 2-4 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a focus on marketing or advertising
- Experience working in tech, gaming, or blockchain-related industries is a plus
- Portfolio demonstrating strong creative skills and versatility in visual styles
