Broker Research Operations Analyst

Summary

The job is for an Analyst position in Broker Operations at AlphaSense's India Office. The role involves onboarding new brokers, maintaining the accuracy of research data, and providing support to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of financial data entry or operations experience, a Bachelor’s Degree, and proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Suite.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of financial data entry, aggregation, or operations experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (with strong academic record)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to identify improvements in processes and workflows
• Must be comfortable in a challenging & growing environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to execute tasks and take complex projects through completion
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Onboarding: Coordinate and assist in the onboarding of new research
• Maintenance: Validate and maintain the accuracy of research received from various sources
• Support: Address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, address operational issues raised by brokers and/or other third parties, monitor alerts for processing delays and escalate them to the appropriate teams
• Functional Improvements: Collaborate with the PMs to identify sources of improvement, streamline processes, and recommend enhancements to tools and workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with sell-side / investment research
• Experience with metadata tagging
