This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, extensive consulting experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Extensive consulting experience
- Skilled in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar documentation platforms to create clear and detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and other project artifacts
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and developing supporting documentation
- Hands-on experience in testing planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Refined problem-solving and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to seamlessly connect and translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated success in fast-paced, ambiguous work environments
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities, capable of managing BA and QA responsibilities simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Proactively communicating and collaborating with project team members and key stakeholders to produce high-quality, detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that set a solid foundation for development and testing
- Conducting gap analysis, assessing business processes, and recommending enhancements that align with project objectives
- Serving as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals
- Continuously improving testing coverage and efficiency by suggesting new techniques/tools and helping incorporate them into the overall QA strategy
- Developing and executing comprehensive testing plans and test scripts that align closely with business and functional requirements
- Gaining a deep understanding of core product functionality
- Translating business needs into clear, actionable, and detailed user and functional requirements
- Producing and maintaining high-quality requirements, supporting documentation, and acceptance criteria
- Designing comprehensive testing plans and test scripts based on requirements to ensure testing is completed accurately and on time
- Logging and tracking defects effectively and collaborating with project teams to prioritize and resolve them efficiently
- Adapting requirements and test scripts to accommodate evolving project needs and changes, ensuring alignment with business goals despite modifications
- Soliciting feedback from stakeholders and end-users to continually improve both requirements-gathering and testing processes
- Providing traceability from requirements to test scripts to confirm software solutions meet all specified requirements and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce business analysis, solutioning, configuration, and/or QA experience
- Lifesciences, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry experience
- Familiar with Agile practices and iterative development cycles, including sprint planning and backlog management
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), Salesforce Business Analyst, or Agile
- Experience with QA tools such as Selenium, TestRail, or Postman, and a good understanding of both manual and automated testing techniques
