Summary

Join Octaneยฎ's Servicing Operations team as a Business Analyst and play a critical role in supporting the tools, systems, and processes that drive Servicing Operations functions. This cross-functional role ensures workflows are optimized, quality-centric, and aligned with business goals. You will act as a bridge between operational needs and technical execution, advocating for process improvements, supporting new initiatives, and ensuring efficient solutions. The role involves operational support, process enablement, quality assurance, and communication. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to troubleshoot system issues, identify opportunities for improvements, and support the implementation and maintenance of servicing systems. Octane is a remote-first company with a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree preferred, or equal experience
  • 3+ years of experience in relevant role
  • Strong understanding of servicing platforms, with working knowledge of LoanPro or other LMS
  • Experience in process improvements and supporting platform enhancements
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, with a solution oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of servicing systems
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and teams to troubleshoot system issues
  • Monitor to proactively identify risks, collaborating with the appropriate teams to resolve any breaks or gaps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvements and process optimizations
  • Become a subject matter expert in servicing systems (LoanPro), helping translate operational needs and into solutions
  • Assist in the design, rollout, and adoption of new features and tools by gathering user feedback, conducting UAT, and supporting training efforts
  • Support initiatives that improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of the team
  • Work closely with internal teams and SMEs to scope and support the successful delivery of enhancements
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with internal stakeholders regarding system updates, performance trends, and ongoing initiatives
  • Provide insightful information and relevant data to management
  • Lead initiatives to improve process integrity and consistency across servicing functions
  • Develop and refine best practices to ensure quality and compliance in core functions
  • Conduct reviews following new launches
  • Partner with multiple business units to ensure updates are consistently reflected and accounted for

Preferred Qualifications

  • LMS Proficiency (LoanPro Expertise a plus, not required)
  • Excel & Google Suite
  • Project management tools are a plus, not required
  • Data visualization tools are a plus, not required
