Business Analyst I

Summary

Join Experian as a Data Analyst and contribute to the design and implementation of fraud detection strategies. You will investigate and resolve fraud issues, lead anti-fraud projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include reviewing controls, analyzing performance metrics, validating risk strategies, and acting as a subject matter expert in fraud prevention. You will manage deployments, data analysis, and process improvement efforts, while supporting audits and due diligence activities. This fully remote role reports to the Vice President, Risk & Fraud Management and requires expertise in data analysis, risk strategy, and fraud prevention.

Requirements

• Expertise in data analysis, performance metrics, and risk strategy validation, with excellent documentation and execution-focused delivery of high-quality outcomes
• Experience enhancing quality by identifying causes and developing effective solutions to challenges with analytical thinking
• High degree of personal excellence, integrity, and an ability to collaborate across teams
• Working knowledge of fraud prevention tools and industry best practices with a track record in fraud operations, risk reduction, process optimization, and customer experience

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and implement fraud detection strategies and alerts
• Investigate and resolve fraud-related issues with efficiency, supporting both our financial services products
• Lead anti-fraud projects and oversee third-party vendor risk
• Review controls, analyze performance metrics, and validate risk strategies
• Collaborate across teams on impact assessments and resolution plans
• Act as SME in fraud prevention and maintain partner relationships
• Manage deployments, data analysis, and process improvement efforts
• Support audits and due diligence activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, or similar analytics platforms
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to fraud and risk management
