Summary

Join Secfix, a startup automating security compliance for European SMBs, as a Business Development & GTM Intern! This 6-month, remote internship (within +/- 2hrs of Germany GMT+1) offers hands-on experience in go-to-market strategy and business development. You will research markets, identify prospects, and refine messaging, working closely with the GTM lead. The role involves managing workflows in Sales Navigator and HubSpot, setting up meetings, and reporting to the CEO. Secfix provides a 100% remote environment, opportunities for career growth, and a chance to work with a dedicated team. The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate with strong communication skills in English and German (C2 level).

Requirements

  • English (fluent) and German (C2 level)
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a university program
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, async-friendly remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target companies and leads matching our ideal customer profile
  • Source and qualify outbound leads by applying qualification frameworks such as PACTT
  • Triage and qualify inbound leads from marketing activities
  • Manage prospecting work-flow in Sales Navigator and HubSpot
  • Set up discovery meetings with the sales team
  • Report regularly to the CEO in weekly 1:1s and sales meetings
  • Consistently meet or overachieve on activity and monthly Sales Accepted Lead targets
  • Feedback prospect learnings to the Secfix product team to help refine our go-to-market positioning and playbook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or student work experience in a startup, VC, consulting, or operations team
  • We would love to see a track record of success and achievement in the things you’ve done to date—academic, sporting, extracurricular, or otherwise
