Join YUPRO Placement as a Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in expanding our impact on the skills-first hiring movement. This remote position, open to candidates in select cities, requires generating and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, and managing contracts. You will collaborate with internal teams, reactivate dormant accounts, and champion fair market wages. Success in consultative B2B selling and experience in strategic account management are crucial. This is a direct-hire, salaried position with uncapped commission potential and a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Proven success in consultative B2B selling with ability to identify client needs, propose solutions, and negotiate deals
- Experience navigating complex stakeholder relationships, including senior executives and line-of-business leaders
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Passion for DEI, early career talent, and driving meaningful workforce change
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Demonstrated experience in strategic account management, staffing, or consultative sales
- Demonstrated success in growing enterprise-level accounts
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications in sales/negotiation are a plus
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through warm and cold outreach to drive new business, revenue, and talent placements
- Conduct engaging sales presentations, negotiate terms, and manage end-to-end contract execution
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline with clear documentation, pipeline management, and close ratio accountability
- Collaborate with internal teams across YUPRO Placement and Year Up to deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences
- Reactivate dormant accounts and expand existing client partnerships to achieve year-over-year growth
- Champion fair market wages and consult with clients to align compensation with candidate skill sets
- Identify and secure job opportunities that support career progression, assignment retention, and equitable outcomes for underrepresented talent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a startup or small business environment is strongly preferred
- Volunteer or nonprofit involvement is a plus

- Salary: 70K + commissions
