Summary

Join Ladder's Business Development team as a Business Development Manager, Financial Institutions! This hybrid or remote role (in select states) focuses on executing Ladder's Financial Institution Partnership strategy, building and maintaining relationships with key partners, and driving partner performance. You will collaborate with internal teams, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to the overall success of Ladder's partnerships. The ideal candidate possesses a strong network in the financial institution and wealth management space, along with proven success in business development and relationship management. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree with 4+ years experience in consulting, business development, business operations or account management
  • Ability to work across engineering, marketing, and business teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of business processes with experience driving metrics-oriented outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in managing and influencing external relationships, including with senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of, and experience working with, external partners on API integrations
  • Someone who takes an analytical approach to BD

Responsibilities

  • Help define and execute Ladderโ€™s Financial Institution Partnership strategy
  • Maintain a wide network in the financial institution and wealth management space, including banks, broker dealers, RIAs, and fin/wealth-tech platforms
  • Lead and shape partnership management playbook to enhance Ladderโ€™s internal and external efficiencies
  • Build long-term relationships with our partners to understand their organization, strategy and goals
  • Support relationships with partners by providing marketing resources, performance and utilization data, and coaching
  • Work across multiple internal teams (marketing, product, design, engineering, legal and compliance) to launch and manage partnerships
  • Set, track, analyze and report on partner performance metrics to find opportunities to improve the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience optimizing user funnel and marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL
