Business Intelligence Specialist

As a BI Specialist (Regulatory) Reporting, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of regulatory reports, collaborating with various teams to interpret and implement regulatory requirements. You will leverage your SQL, Python, and Qlik Sense skills to perform data extraction, transformation, analysis, and dashboard development. This role demands strong technical expertise, autonomy, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced financial environment. You will be responsible for ensuring timely submission of reports, identifying trends, and continuously improving regulatory communication. Requirements

• Experience in the financial sector, with a focus on regulatory reporting, Finance Product, Fintech, or financial ecosystems
• Experience using Databricks, SQL and/or Python
• Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and building dashboards and indicators
• Experience with dataviz tools or Qlik Sense for data visualization and dashboard creation
• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively  and independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction and transformation tasks using SQL and Phyton to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory reports (e.g., CADOCs and other Bacen-mandated reports)
• Analyze and ensure the timely submission of regulatory reports (CADOCs) in compliance with BACEN requirements
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to BACEN regulations
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of regulatory reporting data
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve regulatory communication
• Development and maintenance of dashboards and reports to track data quality, reporting performance, and regulatory KPIs using mainly Qlik Sense and other data visualization tools
• Work closely with Compliance, Accounting, Finance and Products teams to ensure regulatory requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented
• Monitor and ensure implementation and report adapts to regulatory changes and new norms and directives
• Demonstrate autonomy and proactivity in identifying and addressing issues
• Take accountability for delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and financial knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of Spark and Databricks is a plus
• English or Spanish is a plus
