California Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Remote, Part-time) in Worldwide

Summary

Little Otter is a telehealth mental health care company that provides evidence-based therapy, psychiatry, and parenting training via video-based telehealth sessions. The company is committed to providing high-quality mental healthcare by investing in its team through customizable caseloads, onboarding training, weekly consultation meetings, team meetings, scheduling and billing support, competitive compensation, opportunities for additional incentive pay, and a collaborative team environment. The role is a part-time W-2 position with 20 hours per week made up of at least 10 clinical sessions, 3 meetings, and other responsibilities. Clinicians are expected to provide ongoing individual therapy to children ages 0-14 and families through video-based telehealth sessions using evidence-based practices such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, Exposure Therapy for Anxiety, Parent Management Training (PMT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). They are also expected to complete clinical documentation in a timely manner using the Little Otter platform and be part of the collaborative clinical team through participating in weekly consultation meetings, team meetings, and individual meetings with their clinical manager.

Requirements

• Must Hold active CALIFORNIA licensure as a LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
• Experience providing telehealth therapy to children 0-14 and families
• Deliver evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), TF-CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure Therapy for Anxiety, Parent Management Training (PMT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency using a computer and navigating technology (Google suite, EHRs)
• Ability to work from home with reliable internet connection and maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
