Summary
Join That's No Moon, an independent game studio, as a Cinematic Pipeline TD! Work with various departments (Cinematics, Art, Engineering, Audio, TD, and Animation) to ensure cinematic pipelines and in-game transitions align with game goals. Integrate cinematics, solve technical issues, and collaborate for seamless transitions between gameplay and cinematics. Develop tools to improve workflow efficiency and proactively QC cinematic fidelity. This is a temporary project hire position with varying duration. Requirements
- Expert skills in cinematic pipelines, sequencer, and animation pipelines
- 2-3 yearsโ experience in shipped AAA game pipeline cinematics
- Strong knowledge of Unreal, blueprints, C++
- Familiarity with cross-department handoffs regarding cinematic workflows, from mocap and assembly to finished in-engine scenes
Responsibilities
- Integrate cinematic scenes in Unreal using data from motion builder and/or Maya
- Develop tools and collaborate with various departments, including engineering and Anim TD to improve workflow and efficiency in the cinematic pipe
- Proactively QC and troubleshoot cinematic fidelity from animation, lighting, VFX, rigging, and Lumen
- Be comfortable doing your own R&D to proactively improve the pipeline
