Summary

Join Finalis' Capital Markets & Partnerships team as a Capital Allocators Associate and be a key driver of the buy-side strategy. You will onboard and nurture relationships with VCs, PEs, and Family Offices, collaborating with the Capital Seekers team on various projects. Responsibilities include identifying and onboarding high-value Capital Allocators, acting as the primary point of contact for buy-side partners, ensuring a positive user experience on the platform, and managing data and reporting. You will also collaborate with internal teams, gather feedback, and provide insights to the product team. The role reports to the Capital Allocators Manager. This position offers a fully remote work environment and a competitive salary.

Requirements

  • Exceptional written and spoken English
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Commercial orientation with an ability to interview and manage clients effectively
  • Proficiency in managing and analyzing large amounts of data
  • Interest in or experience with the investment banking or private capital markets business
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Expert handling of confidential client information
  • Ability to work swiftly, adapt to frequent shifting priorities, and meet deadlines with a high sense of urgency
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and highly organized with incredible attention to detail
  • Proven ability to follow up and maintain a clear understanding of ongoing tasks and deadlines
  • Flexibility, patience, persistence, perseverance, and a collaborative team spirit

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and onboard high-value Capital Allocators across key markets, particularly in the US and Europe
  • Act as the primary point of contact for buy-side partners, fostering strong and long-lasting relationships
  • Ensure Capital Allocators have a great UX within the Finalis platform
  • Manage buy-side data, processes, and reporting using tools like Airtable to track progress and outcomes (e.g., introductions, NDAs, LOIs, and closed deals)
  • Manage outreach campaigns and be accountable for its results
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the Connect team and leadership, to optimize outreach strategies and engagement initiatives
  • Regularly gather feedback from Capital Allocators to enhance their experience and improve the Finalis value proposition
  • Provide valuable insights to the product team to further develop the product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of or interest in Capital Markets or Investment Banking
  • A Masterโ€™s in Finance or an MBA
