Join Seven Starling, a leading virtual provider of women's behavioral health services, as a Care Coordinator. You will conduct patient consultations, guide them through our care model, and ensure a smooth onboarding process. Requirements

  • Be empathetic and well-spoken. Connect with people and make them feel safe, supported, and cared for. Explain things clearly and succinctly
  • Be detail oriented and highly organized. Double check everything to ensure accuracy. Internalize details of many service options and present them accurately to prospective patients
  • Be mission-driven and ethical. Take responsibility for patient care seriously and always consider what is best for the patient. Treat patient data with utmost care and prioritize data security
  • Be creative and solution-oriented. Proactively identify problems and propose solutions. Take the lead on projects, raising issues and opportunities to your manager
  • Have at least 10 hours of availability per week
  • Have a few hours of availability during business hours, business days (9am-6pm in your timezone) Monday through Friday
  • Have a computer

  • Have a private space to take patient calls

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 20 minute phone consults with prospective patients, which involve: screening them for fit with our care model, normalizing what they are experiencing, explaining how therapy with us works answering questions, checking their insurance eligibility helping them sign up to get started
  • Send secure text message follow up to prospective patients to help route them to a consult or care
  • Keep our CRM up to date with the status of prospective patients and our communications with them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Be familiar with working in healthcare environments
  • Have understanding of and experience working with HIPAA compliance
  • Have experience checking insurance eligibility with tools such as Availity, Change Healthcare
  • Be bilingual
