Catalog Operations Specialist

Summary

Join Order.co as a Catalog Optimization Specialist and contribute to the enhancement of our product catalog to boost customer savings and improve monetization. You will be responsible for identifying vendor sources, updating pricing, ensuring accurate representation of substitute products, and optimizing live orders. Analyze real-time data to suggest substitutions or adjustments maximizing revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction and fulfillment efficiency. This role involves collaborating with the Data team, sourcing information from vendor sites, and identifying optimization opportunities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong written communication skills, and is comfortable navigating e-commerce sites and vendor portals. Experience in data entry, merchandising, operations, or e-commerce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Add or update vendor pricing and availability for high-volume and high-impact SKUs
• Map product substitutes and suggest viable alternatives
• Execute catalog enhancements to reduce customer friction and improve fulfillment rates
• Partner with the Data team to QA product enrichment initiatives
• Source information from vendor sites with speed and accuracy
• Identify optimization opportunities that improve customer savings or Order.co revenue
• Implement impactful time-of-order optimizations and facilitate live quotes to vendor contacts

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year in data entry, merchandising, operations, or e-commerce preferred
• Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and comfort learning new tools
• New York based candidates strongly preferred
