Summary

Join RevOpsforce as a Customer Data Platform (CDP) Data Engineer and contribute to the architecture, implementation, and optimization of CDP solutions within a complex Martech ecosystem. This role requires a data engineer with extensive experience in customer data infrastructure, identity resolution, and real-time personalization enablement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to unify and activate customer data, enabling more effective segmentation and engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, marketing technology, or customer data platforms
  • Proven experience designing and managing data flows for CDPs (e.g., Segment, Treasure Data, Salesforce CDP, BlueConic, mParticle, or similar)
  • Expertise in identity resolution strategies, data stitching, and managing identity graphs
  • Strong experience with data ingestion (batch, stream, and API), and managing large datasets
  • Proficiency in SQL, JSON, and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance practices
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, product, analytics, and IT
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable CDP data pipelines to support ingestion, unification, and activation of first-party data
  • Define and manage data schemas, datasets, and metadata for customer data use cases
  • Build and optimize audience segmentation logic using behavioral, transactional, and firmographic data
  • Implement and maintain identity resolution frameworks to build unified customer profiles
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across tools and data sources
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance and privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Monitor data flows, troubleshoot ingestion and activation issues, and ensure platform stability
  • Contribute technical expertise and best practices for CDP architecture and data modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with reverse ETL tools and data activation platforms
  • Exposure to CDP-integrated orchestration or campaign tools (e.g., Customer.io, Braze, Iterable)
  • Background in enterprise Martech architecture or cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS)
