Summary

Join Zubi Labs, an Impact Venture Builder, as the CEO & Co-founder of a new Medtech spin-off focused on cancer diagnostics using microbiome biomarkers. You will lead the company's strategic direction, operational growth, and fundraising efforts. This role requires proven experience scaling healthcare startups internationally, leading high-performance teams, and securing capital. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in regulatory pathways and partnership development within the Medtech sector. Zubi Labs offers a significant equity stake, capital investment, and support from a seasoned team of experts. The position is based in Spain with remote work options.

Requirements

• Proven track record in leading startups and/or spin-offs within the Medtech sector, with a passion for transforming cancer diagnostics and improving lives
• Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, or Medicine (PhD highly desirable)
• Solid knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, particularly in the Medtech sector
• Demonstrated success in leading funding rounds, securing investments, and managing relationships with venture capitalists and other investors
• Ability to build and scale a company from the ground up, with a highly agile and results-driven approach
• Experience building and leading high-caliber teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• Ability to define the company’s long-term direction and anticipate market challenges and opportunities
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively represent the company to investors, partners, and stakeholders
• You hold a passport or visa that allows you to work in Spain

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's vision, strategy, and long-term goals to establish a globally recognized leader in healthcare
• Establish and negotiate strategic partnerships with key industry players, research institutions, and healthcare providers
• Oversee the regulatory pathway for Medtech products, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations
• Build and lead a high-performing, mission-driven team, fostering a strong company culture
• Develop go-to-market strategies, ensuring product-market fit and successful adoption in the healthcare sector
• Manage company finances, budgeting, and operational efficiency to ensure sustainable growth
• Lead fundraising efforts, secure venture capital, and manage investor relations

Preferred Qualifications

An MBA or equivalent degree with a strong foundation in business strategy, finance, and operations
