Summary

Join TestPros as a Certified Accessibility Consultant to support the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District's 4–6 month Accessibility of Web Information and Services Project. This part-time (15-25 hours/week), contract (4–6 months) remote position requires a IAAP CPACC certification and 3+ years of experience auditing digital assets for accessibility compliance. You will lead audits of web and mobile assets for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, paired testing with assistive technology users, and the creation of a detailed compliance plan. Collaboration with the District's project team on remediation strategies and training is also required, culminating in a final compliance report. The ideal candidate will have experience with state/local government websites or public utility systems and a strong understanding of DOJ's 2024 final rule and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

Requirements

  • IAAP CPACC certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience auditing digital assets for accessibility compliance
  • Demonstrated experience with state/local government websites or public utility systems
  • Strong understanding of DOJ's 2024 final rule and WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • Ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a full audit of all public-facing web and mobile assets for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
  • Lead paired testing process with assistive technology users (e.g., screen reader testers)
  • Create a detailed accessibility compliance plan, including prioritization of issues and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the District’s project team on remediation strategies and training
  • Provide documentation and a final compliance report outlining the state of accessibility and next steps
