Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of Compliance experience
  • Strong skills in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SEC, ESPA, TILA, HMDA, FCRA regulation and laws
  • Experience working with NMLS
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of all relevant Federal and state laws and regulations, including, the Truth in Lending (Reg Z), the CARD Act, FCRA, Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), UDAAP, USA Patriot Act Bank Secrecy and Anti-Money Laundering Laws, OFAC, SCRA and MLA
  • In-depth understanding of BSA, OFAC, KYC, EDD, and monitoring requirements
  • Experience in working with outside legal counsel and handling legal matters
  • Must love dogs

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate regulatory and operational risks
  • Conduct regular compliance monitoring and testing activities to assess the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare and submit timely regulatory reports and filings as required by applicable regulatory authorities
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, examinations, and audits
  • Oversee the investigation and resolution of compliance incidents, breaches, and complaints in a timely and effective manner
