Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within technology organisations, preferably in an open-source environment, with a proven track record of success in managing globally distributed teams
- Understanding of, and appreciation for, open source technologies and their usage in corporate environments
- Technical experience in cybersecurity, data management, cloud computing, virtualisation and hosting infrastructure
- Experience in translating strategic plans into technology strategy and roadmaps
- Advanced people leadership experience and communication skills, with the ability to develop and inspire high performance, and promote a strong workplace culture
Responsibilities
- Ensure the resilience, security and scalability of our business’s technical ecosystem, fostering innovation and aligning technical initiatives with Moodle’s goals
- Guide the future direction of our data and cybersecurity strategies
- Attract, develop and lead a high performance team
- Oversee the operations of our InfoSec, ICT DevOps and DataOps teams globally
- Participate as a member of our senior leadership team, providing input into and supporting achievement of company goals and strategic objectives
