Summary

Join GoodParty.org as their Chief Product Officer to lead product vision, strategy, and delivery. Collaborate with the Founder and leadership team to leverage product expertise in transforming civic leadership. This role involves creating and guiding the company's product roadmap, building and mentoring a high-performing team, and overseeing product management processes. You will coordinate across the company to deliver new product initiatives and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with strong strategic thinking skills and significant product management experience in early-stage startups. Requirements

  • You are a visionary leader with strong strategic thinking skills and a proven history of setting the vision/direction for a product with a strong focus on results
  • You have significant product management experience managing the full product development lifecycle, from research to concept to release and future evolution
  • You have early-stage startup experience and are hungry to get in the weeds, roll up your sleeves and help your team drive growth and hit scaling milestones
  • You exude exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to hire, build, inspire, and motivate cross-functional teams
  • You are a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills at all levels
  • You possess a strong background in building highly engaging tech products, with a demonstrated ability to drive user growth, retention, and satisfaction
  • You hold a high standard for designs and deliver direct, clear feedback that ensures the product lives up to its potential
  • You are an expert in agile development methodologies and modern product management best practices
  • You operate at a fast pace, with a bias towards action
  • You are physically located in the US

Responsibilities

  • Create and guide the company’s product vision and roadmap for literally building the tools that will democratize democracy itself
  • Drive critical timelines to help achieve GoodParty.org’s aggressive growth plan
  • Build, mentor, and retain a best-in-class product and design team, driving a culture of excellence and speed, setting a high bar for fast iteration and quality
  • Create and oversee a product management process that balances optimizing internal initiatives, developing net-new external products, and evolving the core platform
  • Coordinate across the company to deliver new product initiatives and improvements while ensuring accountability for product prioritization
  • Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and other strategic partners to integrate market analysis, qualitative + quantitative user data, and other research to inform the process of product discovery, ideation, technical development, measurement, and learning
  • Report to the CEO, Žak Tomich, and contribute as an active member of GoodParty.org’s Senior Leadership Team
