Summary

Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in civil engineering or similar applicable work experience
- Some prior experience (including academic and internship experience) designing and drafting utilizing AutoCAD and/or Civil3D
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be both creative and analytical
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Efficient time management β handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines
Responsibilities
- Create site layouts and civil land development design sheet sets in AutoCAD/Civil 3D for utility and commercial-scale renewable energy projects
- Perform design tasks on small projects or portions of larger projects
- Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes
- Work under the direction of more senior staff
- Receive close supervision on all aspects of assignments
- Receive a thorough review of completed work for application of sound professional judgment
- Perform essential duties including meeting deliverables and deadlines
- Perform additional duties as assigned or directed
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT Certificate
- Knowledge of GIS software tools
- Prior renewable energy project experience
