Summary
Join BambooHR as a Client Service Specialist and contribute to a supportive team dedicated to exceptional client experiences. You will provide world-class customer service via phone, email, and chat, utilizing your digital navigation and problem-solving skills to assist clients with BambooHR products. This remote position requires 1-2 years of relevant customer service or technical troubleshooting experience and excellent communication skills. The role involves in-office training followed by a flexible work model. Requirements
- Be available for in-office training during your training/ramping period (which takes approx. 16 weeks, dependent on performance), before choosing between in-office or remote work
- Have a remote work setup with a dedicated workspace, free from distraction with high-speed, reliable internet
- Have 1-2 years of relevant customer service or technical troubleshooting experience, with a strong ability to deliver exceptional customer care, take initiative, and exceed client expectations
- Have excellent interpersonal communication with clients and co-workers
- Have talked with customers over the phone, demonstrating a passion for customer care and championing high levels of client satisfaction
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to break down complex problems and explain them in a clear and simple way
- Be articulate and concise in both written (type 40+ words per minute) and oral English communication
- Demonstrate strong resiliency and the ability to work through difficult situations, thriving in a metric-oriented environment and consistently achieving goals and milestones both during training and throughout the role
Responsibilities
- Provide world-class customer service via phone, email, and chat communications with clients
- Uphold and contribute to a brand of setting people free to do great work
- Develop an understanding of how information connects in BambooHR products to quickly navigate to the core of client issues
- Learn how to guide clients in BambooHR performance management, time-tracking, onboarding, and applicant-tracking systems
- Quickly think on your feet to work through complex questions and come up with creative solutions
- Be proactive in working independently while also thriving in a team-based environment with other Client Service Specialists
- Keep up to date on new features and products to maximize value for clients
- Engage in upselling and customer retention activities, utilizing BambooHR strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Do your best, focused work, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday (no nights or weekends!)
