Summary

Join Each as a Clinical Educator and shape the learning and development journey of Better Connect’s clinical workforce. Design and deliver high-impact training for mental health professionals, building capability in mental health, AOD, and suicide prevention. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship, supporting high-quality, evidence-based care. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver culturally responsive training, stay current with clinical research, and evaluate the impact of learning programs. Foster a learning culture and support clinical governance processes. This full-time ongoing position offers hybrid/remote options across Central Queensland, Wide Bay, and the Sunshine Coast, with a competitive salary, superannuation, and generous salary packaging benefits.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in mental health, AOD, or suicide prevention services
  • Experience designing and delivering clinical training and education
  • A background in providing clinical supervision and mentoring
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with an ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and consortium partners
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Allied Health, Psychology, or similar
  • Current state-based driver’s licence

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver targeted clinical education programs that align with sector best practices
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring, especially to early-career professionals
  • Support the development of competency frameworks and individual learning plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver culturally responsive training
  • Stay current with clinical research and embed evidence-based practice in all training
  • Evaluate the impact of learning programs on clinical outcomes and service delivery
  • Foster a learning culture across the region through reflective practice and peer development
  • Support clinical governance processes, including risk, quality, and accreditation activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in regional and remote communities
  • Cultural competence, especially in working with Indigenous communities
  • Familiarity with clinical governance and quality improvement frameworks
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Education
