Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, IT, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare informatics, clinical data quality, identity management, and healthcare analytics
- Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and healthcare data integration principles
- Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), TOAD, Power BI, MS Access, IBM MDM Inspector, and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Hands-on experience in data management, identity management, and data governance in a large-scale healthcare system
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical data quality analytics and healthcare reporting frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in healthcare data quality, data management, and identity management within a federal healthcare system
- Provide expert knowledge in electronic clinical quality reporting, hospital accreditation bodies, and implementation of clinical data quality principles in a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Oversee data quality analytics, clinical data governance, and data stewardship efforts to ensure accurate, reliable, and standardized healthcare data
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), TOAD, Power BI, MS Access, IBM MDM Inspector, and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to conduct data analysis and develop insights for healthcare decision-making
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support identity management solutions for clinical data integrity
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations, data privacy, and security policies related to healthcare informatics
- Analyze data integration and standardization challenges, implementing solutions to enhance data interoperability
- Engage with clinical, IT, and data governance stakeholders to align healthcare informatics initiatives with federal healthcare objectives
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance healthcare outcomes through improved data accuracy, quality, and usability
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related field
- Experience working with federal healthcare agencies such as VA, DoD, or HHS
- Certifications in Healthcare Data Management, Data Governance, or Health IT-related fields
