Summary

Join our team as a Clinical Quality Specialist (CQS)! In this role, you will serve as a resource for therapists and internal teams, providing guidance on clinical and administrative telehealth matters. You will identify knowledge gaps, lead consultation groups, and develop improvement plans for providers. A strong understanding of clinical best practices and documentation is essential. This position requires collaboration with clinicians nationwide, leveraging supportive skills and a commitment to quality to enhance both therapist development and patient outcomes. Requirements

  • Master’s degree and an active unencumbered clinical license in any state (LCSW, LMFT, LPC or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of licensed clinical therapy experience with a variety of populations
  • 2+ years in a private practice setting
  • Experience reviewing documentation with extensive knowledge of requirements in behavioral health as it relates to clinician’s ethical responsibilities, and commercial payor standards
  • Clinical documentation quality improvement, peer review, and/or clinical supervision background
  • Supportive, respectful, and confident approach clinical consultations
  • Experience leading peer clinical consultation groups

Responsibilities

  • Offer guidance and direction on clinical and administrative issues that arise in telehealth private practice
  • Identify knowledge and practice gaps based on quality indicators
  • Host consult groups for network therapists
  • Execute one-on-one supportive improvement plans for providers who need additional support
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of clinicians from across the country
  • Help therapists’ professional development
  • Boost patient outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of CPT codes in behavioral health
  • Ability to work with Google Suite
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • Extensive clinical knowledge specific to DSM diagnostics, use of measurement informed care, and licensing regulations
