Clinical Reporting Director

Summary

Harbor Health is seeking a Clinical Reporting Director with at least 10 years of clinical or informatics experience and proficiency in Athena EHR. The role involves creating templates, guidelines, improving usability, managing data integration, collaborating with clinical leadership, and acting as an expert trainer for existing applications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of clinical and/or informatics experience with active licensure in TX
• Minimum of 5 years in Athena EHR experience and demonstrated proficiency
• Basic proficiency in statistical analysis and project management
• Experience with Utilization Reporting

Responsibilities

• Create initial library of primary care templates within Company’s EMR
• Create Company approved clinical guidelines
• Make recommendations on improvements to templates and guidelines to improve clinical usability, quality and efficiency
• Support data connectivity and EHR integration activities
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop, or review and modify operational processes, policies, and procedures
• Oversee all programming and accuracy of treatment plans and protocols within EHR
• Manages the integration of data between ancillary systems and EMR, ensuring accuracy
• Act as expert and trainer for existing applications, along with supporting implementation and rollout of application enhancements
• Participate in clinical operations meetings to understand user feedback and requirements for future application modifications, and provide statuses on competencies, adoption, and utilization rates

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous NR, Advance Nurse Practitioner
• Active nursing license in the state of TX
• Microsoft & Google Office Suite experience
• Project management experience in Slack, Miro, Asana
• Experience in other EHR systems e.g. eClinicalWorks desirable
• Certification in Healthcare Quality
