Summary
Join FOLX Health, a leading health and wellness platform for LGBTQIA care, as a Clinical RN. You will support the clinical team by providing direct education, counseling, and clinical care to members. This salaried position requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and weekdays, to cover other RN PTO and holiday coverage. You will provide clinical care and education asynchronously to members, assist clinicians with prescription refills and lab orders, collaborate with clinicians on lab and imaging results, work with member support to complete clinical forms, collaborate with referral specialists, participate in quality assurance activities, and provide injection training.
Requirements
- Clinical experience serving the LGBTQAI+ community
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with a wide variety of patients and coworkers
- Dedication to the FOLX mission and Informed Consent model of care--where radical transparency, collaboration, and empowerment of the individual are of utmost priority
- Desire to make sure all questions from a patient are answered completely, and patient is linked with appropriate resources and referrals if beyond our scope
- Excellent decision-making skills and communication
- Great organizational and time management skills that allow for timely completion of tasks and patient follow-up, especially important in a remote work environment
- Demonstrated experience in working with diverse groups, including diversity in race, ethnicity, economic status, and educational background
- Active RN license (Strong preference for RN license that is part of the NLC compact states since that allows licensing coverage across 35 states)
Responsibilities
- Within scope of RN practice, provide clinical care and education asynchronously to members
- Assist the clinicians in refilling member prescriptions and ordering labs, checking PDMP, etc
- Collaborate with clinicians to provide members with lab and imaging results, as well as respond to medical requests by members and outside entities
- Work with Member support/navigation to help complete clinical forms or paperwork
- Collaborate with referral specialists in specialty referral, including at times generating referrals per the request of clinician
- Support and participates in Quality Assurance activities
- Injection training (individual or group video meetings with members)
