Health Coach

Summary

Join Parsley Health, a leading functional healthcare company, as a part-time, remote Health Coach. You will provide virtual health coaching sessions to members, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals through lifestyle changes. This role requires experience in functional nutrition/medicine, health coaching, and excellent communication and time management skills. You will work closely with a care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to a growing, mission-driven organization.

Requirements

• Experience and/or training in functional nutrition/functional medicine
• 3+ years of health coaching experience, or have coached at least 50 people
• Registered Dietitian, Master in Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition Specialist, National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA), or other certification in health coaching (IFM or similar)
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced startup environment
• Tech skills - Parsley Health is a paperless company! You need to be comfortable using web tools, social media, and learning new platforms like our electronic medical record system

Responsibilities

• Provide availability each week to hold 30-minute virtual health coaching visits and associated administrative time, committing to at least 8 hours/week
• Schedules are confirmed 24 hours ahead of time
• This is a part-time contract role entailing seeing members online for health coaching visits
• See patients virtually via telemedicine using the technology platform provided by the practice
• Provide excellent, personalized patient care according to the guidelines provided by the practice
• Work closely with a care team (including a Clinician and RN) to help patients optimize outcomes and achieve their health and wellness goals
• Assist in the resolution of patient inquiries and requests
• Complete online charts in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity using a MacBook, Google suite, Slack and Zoom
• Willingness to work during MST/PST hours
• Willingness to work on Fridays

Benefits

• The hourly rate for this role is between $55/hour , depending on skills and experience
