Cloud Architect

Summary

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join their team. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for developing cloud strategies, designing cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud applications, and more. Required education is a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and eight or more years of relevant experience. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• Eight+ (8+) years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Expertise in cloud architecture design, including networking, security, and scalability
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategies for the MEDCHART system, aligned with Government objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions
• Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions based on best practices and industry standards
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud applications
• Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies to meet project and organizational requirements
• Develop and execute migration plans for the MEDCHART system to the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility
• Implement robust security measures and compliance controls in cloud architectures
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure applications are optimized for cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
