Summary
Join DoiT's Client Services team in LATAM as a Cloud Data Architect, working remotely from Mexico (ideally around Mexico City). You will apply your expertise in building and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems on AWS to address customer needs. This role provides opportunities for professional growth through dedicated learning time and thought leadership activities. You'll work with cloud data storage, data warehousing, and data lake architecture, utilizing technologies like Redshift, Athena, Glue, and EMR. The ideal candidate is a skilled data pipeline builder with experience in orchestration tools like AWS MWAA/Airflow. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience engineering, developing, and troubleshooting large production-grade distributed systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The expertise to architect, develop and troubleshoot large production-grade distributed systems on AWS and select the appropriate tools to tackle business problems at the correct scale
- Experienced working with cloud data storage, data warehousing, and/or data lake architecture, ELT/ ETL and reporting/ analytic frameworks and technologies, such as Redshift, Athena, Glue and EMR
- Experience with designing highly-available systems for serving transactional web-scale low-latency traffic using both RDBMS and NoSQL technologies, such as AWS RDS and DynamoDB
- A programming background with shell scripts and one or more of the following: JavaScript, Java, Python, GO or Rust
- Familiarity with debugging, refactoring and optimizing code and the experience to know when and how to automate tasks
- Hands on with deploying production data pipelines using orchestration tools like AWS MWAA/Airflow
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML technologies like SageMaker is a plus
- Experience with QuickSight or other BI Visualization tools is a plus
